Office of Residence Life Forms:

Room Change Request Form:

Open Room Change has concluded, therefore all new requests will go through our process of roommate mediation first.

Room changes can be requested by completing the Room Change Request form. This form allows a student to request to be moved from their current assignment to a vacant space elsewhere. There are no student moves allowed during the first two weeks and the last two weeks of the semester. After a room change request is received, the Office of Residence Life will communicate with the appropriate Area Coordinator within the areas where a change will take place. No request is guaranteed and is only approved after official confirmation is received by the Office of Residence Life.

Housing Release Request Form

Students may cancel their housing agreement by completing the Housing Agreement Release Request Form. Students continuing enrollment at Widener University must meet the 2 year residency requirement to cancel their housing. Students not meeting the 2-Year Residency Requirement who are enrolled as full-time students will be assigned and charged room and board by Residence Life regardless of whether they move into their residential space. Housing Agreement Release Requests are reviewed by a committee which includes representatives from Financial Aid, Student Accessibility Services, Dining, and the Dean of Students or designee. The committee reserves the right to deny any Housing Agreement Request. For more information please view section IV of the housing agreement.
